How fitting is it that today marks the beginning of world breastfeeding week and tomorrow marks ONE YEAR of exclusively pumping for the twins? (And yes— pumping is breastfeeding!) As our journey slowly comes to an end, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting, and all I can say is WOW. 19,547 oz pumped. 153 gallons. 1,816 sessions. 39,900 minutes spent pumping. (Probably an equal amount of time spent washing bottles and pump parts). Pumping while driving. Pumping in the middle of the night. Pumping while sick. Pumping in airplanes. Pumping even when I really, really didn’t want to. What a gift this journey has been—I’ve learned so much about patience, perseverance, and motherhood. So so proud of this chapter, and ready to dive into the next (see: Go Go Squeez spilled all over my white shirt, courtesy of Shep) 🤍🍼

We all had our very first Disney experience today!!! 🥹🥲 Princess Mabel fit right in (meanwhile Shep showed Cinderella his bellybutton 🤦🏼‍♀️) The most magical place on earth is even more magical at Christmastime!!! 🎄✨
