Happy 30th birthday to the man, the myth, the legend, and the love of my life, MAXIE!

Growing up with you was the greatest gift I could have asked for as your older brother. You had the biggest impact in making me who I am today as an adult. We’ve gone through every phase of life together; and quite frankly, I’m not sure if it was me teaching you, or you teaching me.

All I know, Max, is that you are the most genuine soul I have ever known or encountered. You have never not loved everybody, never held a grudge, and never said something mean about anybody. Thirty years of being an earth angel is a long time. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to repay you for the perspective you have given me about life.

Thank you for letting me share you with the world, thank you for wanting to spread our message to the world. Through all of the hate I’ve tried to shield you from (I know you’ve seen some) you haven’t batted an eye and still love the people who have left you hate. You are a real man, Max.

There is so much to be thankful for, my brother. But most of all, thank you for showing me what love is. Max, you are the embodiment of love, I want you to know that. Not just for me, but one day, the entire world.

Happy birthday again Max. I am so proud of you that I can’t put it into words; and although I’ve seemed to gravitate towards them to fill in our gaps, there are no words to describe the depth of my feelings for you.

You are my best friend, forever forever.
