Congratulations to the remarkable Constance Zimmer on her Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for "Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette!"

When I had the pleasure of seeing Constance at an FX event for Love Story, I mentioned to her that I believed she deserved an Emmy nomination for her deeply moving portrayal of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's mother — and I am glad to see that recognized. I also mentioned to Constance that I have always respected her work playing strong, complex female characters — from ruthless reality producer Quinn King on UnREAL, which earned her a 2016 Emmy nomination, to cutthroat studio executive Dana Gordon on HBO's Entourage, to fierce prosecutor Dana Berg on Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer.

As Ann Messina Freeman, Constance takes us on an emotional journey — from a mother nervously watching her daughter fall in love with John F. Kennedy Jr. — one of America's most famous men, to delivering a powerfully cautionary wedding toast. Constance delivers a truly unforgettable performance in one of the year's most talked about limited series.

"Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette" is produced by Ryan Murphy and is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+. Wishing Constance all the best this Emmy season and beyond!
