Another tax that needs to continue.

In November, Boone County voters are going to be asked to continue with the quarter cent sales tax that fully funds the Boone County jail.

This is not a new tax or a tax increase. It is a continuance of a tax we already pay. It has a 10 year sunset.

A sales tax means that Boone County residents aren't carrying this burden alone. Everyone who comes into the county to shop, eat, and do business will be contributing to keeping our community safe and protected.

What does this cost you? Only 25 cents on a $100 purchase.
