Join the Harrisonburg Community Connectors team on Monday, July 21, at 6pm at the Lucy Simms Center as we host historians Ann Pfau, David Hochfelder and Stacy Sewell for a presentation on the findings of additional historical research into and documentation of the history of Urban Renewal and its impacts on the Harrisonburg community.

The Spraygrounds at Ralph Sampson Park will be closed for maintenance this Thursday, July 17th. We will be working on some general things to help tweak what we've seen during the first two weeks of usage.

In addition, and as requested, we are excited to be adding 6 new park benches near the Sprayground itself, 2 near the playground, and 2 bike racks.

The closure will be for the entire day. Thanks for your patience and understanding as we get the park operating at peak performance.

SERCAP's Certified Housing Counselor Jacob Hodges.
