It took me a minute to put this into words… but Sunday’s service in Detroit stirred something deep in my soul.
First of all—Community.
The power of coming home and being welcomed, not whispered about. To walk into a room and be met with open arms and open hearts—that's a rare gift. And it reminded me that when you're rooted in love, you can transition in life without burning bridges. Real connections don’t expire, they expand.
The service? Whew.
It was layered in purpose.
Women were praying for women.
For the grieving, the sick, the searching.
For single mothers. For the elder mothers. For the mothers with angel babies. For those whose hearts are heavy and hands are tired.
Each prayer was a lifeline—and I felt the thread of each one tighten around me like a hug from heaven.
And as I stood there, heart full—not overwhelmed, but gleaming with glee—I knew:
God chose me to be in that moment.
He reminded me of what’s kept me, grown me, saved me:
Prayer. A praying mother. A praying tribe.
To all of you in Michigan, St. Louis, Texas, Memphis, Mississippi, Washington, Cali—wherever life has placed you—I salute you.
Whether we shared years or just a season, the love is still there. When we see each other, we don’t just wave—we light up. Because the impact was real, mutual, and unforgettable.
So let me encourage you:
When you feel low, unsure, or in-between seasons…
When your heart is heavy or your direction is unclear…
PRAY.
Ask God for guidance.
He loves you, and He hears you.
He will answer, and He will lead.
But make no mistake—Prayer must be at the center of it all.
As I walk into 2025, my lesson is clear:
Stay connected. Stay grounded. Stay prayerful.
Because in every transition, God still makes room for your next.
With love,
Coach Renee
