Omegatelik is an eclectic dark dance, genre fluid, DJ based out of Hartford, CT with resident DJ positions at SanctuaryCT (New Haven, CT) and RESIST The Club (Albany, NY). They have been involved in the overarching goth industrial scene since 2006 and are known for crushing dance floors across North America (and abroad). Traveling and experiencing new club nights, collaborating with other DJs, sup

porting live music and spending time with fellow artists and friends is a passion of theirs. They hold it to be the life blood of making a scene into a community. Omegatelik began DJing in 2016 and despite hesitancy to leave the dance floor, they fell in love with being on the other side of the decks. Sweaty and sultry; they bring an eclectic mix of dark dance music woven from modern goth, industrial, ebm, dark electro, tribal noise, and dark pop. Through a journey of genre exploration, they strive to weave a cathartic narrative eliciting lusty and powerful passion to keep you moving all night long. In addition to their residencies, Omegatelik has performed at numerous events across the north east such as: Xmortis (Boston, MA), Kontrol (Easthampton, MA), Resurrection (Manchester, NH), Darq (Salem, MA), KINK (Providence, RI), Club Nihil (NYC), Reign of Terror (Milton, PA), Coven (Easton, PA), QXTs (Newark, NJ), Asylum 13 (Wilmington, DE), Ignition (Ocean View, NJ), Crypt (Montpleir, VT), Blackbeard Endeavours, various kink events, has collaborated on numerous Twitch streams with DJs across the world, and more. Omegatelik believes in and encourages the paradigm shift in the dark music community towards embracing diversity and inclusion, protecting its marginalized members, and celebrating the latest music. August is a slow month for DJing but that means there is space to showcase my other passion!

I'll be DJing Sanctuary CT on August 23rd but before that you can catch me at Kontrol: Easthamptons Goth/Kink night. on Thursday 8/14 with my rigger JuteBight providing some sh***ri ropey ambiance for the evening.

Then Friday August 29th I'll be back at cafe nine for the debut of Bo****lo Macabre! Where I'll be joining Miss Acacia for a sh***ri/rope performance!

Dearest Darklings!

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from Psychopomp CT. Despite its success, due to personal and professional related reasons, Psychopomp is no longer a good fit for myself.

However, in the face of this loss I have found solace in the magnitude in which the scene - from so many walks of life - came out to support goth-industrial in Hartford! When I moved here I heard Hartford was a “Dead City” and a lost cause. There hadn’t been a goth event in over 10 years! What I saw though shows people are hungry for our music, culture, and a place to let loose. It was pure magic and I will *not* abandon this growing community.

I cannot express enough my appreciation towards folks traveling from all over the north east to support this new event and while Psychopomp was never [just] “my” night, I am very cognizant I became a face and champion for it. I promise you I am not done in Hartford. Stay tuned for the next adventures my team and I have in store for you! 🔥🖤🩷
