Anyone else HATE this new app update!?

I literally rage quit grocery shopping because scanning my barcodes and even searching up point values took me 10x longer. Finding my weight tracker takes like a thousand extra steps…

Do NOT get me wrong, I am a winter lover!! But I’m sharing some from my cruise last January because it is COLD today (literally 9 degrees, -9 windchill) and I’ll be back on another cruise in 15 days!! Thank GOODNESS! I’m ready to float on a big boat and clear my brain lol.

Only this time, I’ll be ~25lbs smaller than in these pictures and hopefully smiling even bigger 🥹

ALSOOO happy to report that as of today I am down 24.1lbs since October!! 🥹🎉

This makes me officially 1.5lbs less than I was in 2023 when I first started this page and my original WLJ and I’m now back at my first baseline so it really feels like I have momentum now.

It also feels like the extra “trauma weight” I gained from everything that happened to me in 2024 is finally off my body and I could literally burst into tears it’s so mentally freeing to know that.

Honestly I love that they have these suggestion pages, it helps me think clearly about what to order and feel 10x better about the way I’m spending my leftover points for the day so can still say yes to the impulsive golden arch runs and not have to worry lol

Pulling out ✨ol’ reliable✨ tonight, scrambled eggs with cottage cheese + an english muffin with jelly, because man do I NOT have an appetite right now, idk what’s up today 😅 I almost opted to not have dinner all together but decided that I needed to do SOMETHING or I’d feel awful in the morning and probably want to eat 10x more tomorrow.

6pts total for the lowfat cottage cheese I used (couldn’t find nonfat at the store) and english muffin

Total points used today - 28/48 because the lack of wanting to eat was so real… thanks topamax! 😅 but it’s okay, I’ve learned to honor the days like this and eat what I can and not push my body and keep it moving.

I still had breakfast, lunch, and a 0 point snack + this dinner so all is well!

* I don’t ever count things like butter, jelly, dressing, creamer, etc because I don’t use a lot and it feels less restrictive for me!

Got a new scale today and by the grace of SOMETHING I still somehow managed to lose 2.2lbs over the holidays! 🥳🥳🥳 I weighed myself at night just to test it out and do the WW app sync so I may even have lost even more but I think I’ll just take it at face value for now.

Couldn’t tell ya how I did it, I’ll just say I drank more water or something, I don’t know lol. I did do a soft re-set this past week, that may have helped, but either way I am now 13.2lbs down since the first week of October and 5lbs away from where I started in March 2023!!

WLJ 2.0 we are SO back!!!!

EDIT: I did end up re-weighing myself this morning just out of sheer curiosity because we all know that morning weigh-ins provide the most accurate numbers and… Holy crap, 18LBS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t even really have anything to say about that other than, DAAYUM lol.

HAPPY 2026!!!!! 🍾✨🫶🏻

What a hell of a year 2025 was, wow.

To share some highlights - I took my first cruise, saw some theatre, adopted a kitten named Tabitha (!!!), went to my first renaissance faire, ventured back to Disney, did a backstage tour of my favorite ride and saw my friends, saw some amazing concerts (Kesha, MARINA, and Stevie Freakin’ Nicks) made some career strides, got 4 more tattoos, filled my cup with time with friends, expanded my spiritual journey, and also learned how to make some core memories alone!

This year I have a lot of (attainable) goals to accomplish and I’m super excited to get it going! One of them since back in October being of course tracking again but now adding posting on here again. Another goal of mine is getting certified in reiki this year!

What are your 2026 goals - health related or otherwise? I wanna hear them!!

My two favorite things so far this week!

1. Avocado toast on english muffin with tomato & hard boiled egg - 8pts (4 for real english muffin vs. light, 4 for half an avocado vs. 1/4) to trim the points could use light english muffin and 1/4 avo!

2. Vanilla greek yogurt parfait with berries & cinna granola - 10pts (6pts for 1 cup Aldi brand nonfat vanilla greek yogurt, 4pts for 1/4 cup aldi brand cinnamon granola, 0pts for blackberries & raspberries)

We’re trying to get for our cruise in late February folks 🤪

Totally kidding, but ya know, getting back on the health journey is very important, especially since 2025 was a huge year of working on my mental health and fully healing from “The Great F**kening of 2024.”

I think I’m gonna make a lil highlight post to wrap up the year & welcome the new year tonight or tomorrow, but I hope everyone’s had a great day so far 😌
