First Friday House Music is Hartfords monthly celebration of House music hosted at Tisane Euro-Asian Cafe in Hartford, CT. The night boasts some of the regions best DJ's on a great sound system, fantastic lighting, and all in a great intimate venue with a stellar staff who dishes out martinis which win awards year after year. Meet the artist: DJ Rebel

Born in Honduras, and raised in Providence, Rhode Island DJ Rebel started djing in the early '90s. He was known for bringing his crowd through a journey of banging beats that kept the crowd dancing all night. Blending a variety of house, disco, hard house, tribal, and techno Rebel was soon being booked for local legendary clubs like The Living Room, Pulse, Asylum, and New England's favorite after-hours club, club Therapy.

After taking a break Rebel returned to the tables. This time channeling his Honduran roots into producing his own sounds filled with more tribal house stacked with deep layers of drums reminiscent of the drum circles back home. Adding to his unique style he also brings in Latin house elements.

Last night was a vibe! 🤩

Thank you to MRI for starting the night off properly, and to Kered for bringing us on an amazing two hour journey to the moon.

Huge thank you to everyone that came out! Beautiful energy, faces, and dancing!!

This Friday, June 6th - MRI

MRI is a Hartford-based up-and-coming DJ who first hit the scene in 2016 and has been a house head ever since.
Known for her infectious energy and love of dance, she brings feel-good vibes to every set—often with her cat Oliver as her biggest fan during practice sessions.
MRI hosts outdoor DJ pop-ups and is excited for the next chapter in her musical journey.

This marks the first of many hand selected, up-and-coming dj's to get a chance to join us, play on industry standard gear, and perform in front of a crowd. Come early and support!
