Today, I return the keys to our very first apartment. 🏠🔑
Six years ago, my now-fiancée and I walked into this place starting a life together. We struggled here. We grew here. We laughed, argued, celebrated, cried, and made memories that I’ll carry with me forever.
I’ll be the first to admit that a lot of our struggles in the beginning were because of me. I didn’t always know how to manage money or make the best decisions. But this apartment watched me learn. It watched us grow.
We raised our oldest here, welcomed our baby Izabella home here, and turned these walls into a home for our family. ❤️
Today, I’m leaving as a different man than the one who first walked through that door six years ago. Better with money, better prepared, and with a much clearer understanding of what it means to build something for your family.
It’s bittersweet looking at these empty walls. I’m going to miss this place—not because everything here was perfect, but because this is where so much of our story happened.
Now it’s time for the next chapter. A new home, new memories, and another step forward for our family.
Thank you for the memories. You were our first home. ❤️🔑
On to better. 🙏🏽
