This plan (Public Act 13-178) provides a blueprint to ensure that the state’s behavioral health system meets the mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs of all children in Connecticut. The comprehensive plan was created following the tragedy in Newtown.

The Advisory Board collaborates to implement and monitor initiatives and policies, oversees working groups, and reports annually to the General Assembly with recommendations to improve the children’s behavioral health system.
