Louise Albin, who recently catered a luncheon in Hartford for the president of the Czech Republic and 32 diplomats in Hartford, has been named Connecticut’s Caterer of the year by the Connecticut Restaurant Association, shining brighter than the other finalists, including a swanky Fairfield caterer with clientele in NYC.

The caterer noted they sell “a ton” of double chocolate zucchini bread and what she calls “to die for” chocolate raspberry tort. “

Everybunny Counts Rabbit Rescue has been looking for a new home itself, while finding new homes for bunnies. The organization lost its home in Bristol in 2021, but a recent grant awarded by American Eagle Federal Credit Union has the nonprofit rabbit adoption agency on the verge of acquiring a new home.
