I work at a hotel in New York, and last night I had the pleasure of discovering what can only be described as The Great Midwestern Beer Massacre. A family from Wisconsin checked out of their room, and when I opened the door… bro… it looked like a recycling center had exploded.

I’m talking hundreds of empty beer cans. Stacked on tables. Lined up on the floor. One was even balanced on top of the TV like it was trying to get better reception. I’ve seen messy rooms before, but this one genuinely made me wonder if they brought a U-Haul just for the beverages.

And the best part?
They left a note. A note that said:

“Sorry for all the beer cans, we are from Wisconsin.”

Like that explains everything.
Like that’s a medical condition.
Like I should read that and go, “Ah yes, of course. Totally normal.”

Next to the note was their generous tip: twenty bucks.

Twenty dollars.
For a cleanup job that required three trash bags, two deep breaths, and one internal breakdown.

I’m starting to think the note wasn’t an apology… it was a warning.

Kick off this holiday season by spending a fun family night out at LC Pets 5th annual Santa and His Reindeer Arrival Celebration!

Santa and Mrs Claus will be there along with their elves and reindeer. Get up close and meet some of Santa’s live reindeer and get photos in his sleigh with reindeer, photos with Santa and photos with Mrs. Claus. Many fun choices for the perfect family holiday photo!

Other fun activities will include free face painting, hot cocoa from Inclusion Coffee, balloon creations by Half Twisted-Half Knot, Mini Donuts from Dough Nation, and a special appearance by The Grinch!
