I’m back, baby! (Although the funny thing is, I didn’t even realize I was gone.)

It started slowly. After nearly 3 years of being on the medication, I noticed my side effects were increasing while my appetite suppression seemed to be decreasing. I felt off for days every week, yet I was also dealing with more food noise than I had in a long time. Maintaining my weight suddenly felt much harder than it used to.

For months, I kept telling myself it was all part of the process. I wondered if I was imagining it or if I was somehow doing something wrong.

After making a change to my treatment plan, the difference has been incredible.

Maintenance feels sustainable again. My energy is back. I'm no longer waking up thinking about food all day while also worrying about how I'll feel after eating.

What I've learned is that if something isn't working for you, it's okay to ask questions, explore your options, and advocate for yourself.

And if you've been feeling stuck lately, you're definitely not alone.

5 month mommy makeover scar update!

Super happy with how my body is healing! Truly the only scar I’ve ever cared about is my belly button and my surgeon did such an amazing job hiding it!
