👋🏼I'm a life long gym hater.
I hated the culture, hated the way my body looked a felt when I was there, hated the guilt I felt when I didn't go and the emotions I felt when I was there.
But 90 days ago, I made myself sign up at Orangetheory Fitness because I was tired of waiting to want to move my body. I never thought I could hit my goal weight and now that I had I wanted to show myself I could do something else I never expected.
Here’s what I learned:
✨ You don’t have to love the gym to show up.
✨ Consistency > intensity.
✨ The right gym doesn't promote diet culture.
✨ Sometimes the win is just not quitting.
💁🏼♀️I didn’t go every day. I didn’t fall in love with burpees.
❤️But I did feel a shift.
A shift in not only my body but also my mental outlook.
👉 I want to know:
Do you enjoy working out or do you do it for other reasons?
Tell me your honest relationship with the gym (or movement in general). Let’s make this a judgment-free zone 👇
