Good morning, Yeti says! ☀️🐓😂

Straight out of the coop and already chasing his ladies around like he owns the place… which, I guess he kinda does. 🤭

Yeti rules the coop around here since he’s the only grown rooster. 👑🐓

This morning he woke up and chose one of two things… he was either doing his little love dance for the ladies 💃🏼❤️ or he was looking for somebody to fight.

Honestly, I’m not sure. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Luna, I swear, is something special 😆🐾

This girl will literally play with anything… and I mean anything. Even ROCKS. 😂🪨

I could sit and watch her all day just wandering around, finding random things to turn into toys. And the best part is when she thinks she’s being all sneaky about it. 🤭😂

She definitely keeps us entertained! There is never a dull moment with Miss Luna around. 🩷🐱

Anyone else have a cat that can turn absolutely anything into a toy? 😂

🐓🏡 CHICKEN PEOPLE — I want to see your setups! 👀

Especially those of you who have multiple breeding pens or separate color pens… I have questions! 😂

How many pens do you have altogether?

🎨 Do you breed specific colors, or do you have assorted/mixed-color pens?

🐥 If you separate by color, what made you choose those particular colors and pairings?

🏡 How big are your pens, and how did you decide how to divide your space?

🌳 And the big one… how much land are you working with?

We live on less than an acre, and I currently have 4 pretty large pens. I keep looking at them thinking, “Technicallyyyy… I could divide these and make more pens.” 😂🐓

Because apparently 4 chicken pens are never enough once you start thinking about all the different breeding combinations! 🤦‍♀️😂

We’re getting ready for more vendor events with Mize Creek Farms, and I’m wanting to have a nice custom banner made for our setup! 🐣🐓💗

🐔 UFD — Black Mottled Satin Cockerel 🖤

Look at this handsome little guy! 😍 I have this beautiful black mottled Satin cockerel looking for a new flock.

He is a little over a month old and already has gorgeous feathered feet and is starting to show more of that mottling. I think he’s going to be a pretty boy as he matures! 🖤🤍

Apparently Waffles has assigned himself a new job here at Mize Creek Farms.

Benefits: none.
Pay: probably snacks.
Qualifications: questionable. 🤣

I swear, you cannot make up the things these chickens do. I guess if you’re looking for Waffles, check the hose holder first. 😂🐔
