Hidden Greens Golf and Event Center in Hastings is donating tee-times and hosting the Special Olympics Minnesota Regional Golf Competition today. The event involves over 50 volunteers and features 230 athletes and their unified partners from 11 teams across the state who compete in Skills, 3-hole and 9-hole best ball and traditional play. ⛳️

Unofficial overnight rain total from west Hastings. KDWA has learned of a recent power outage in parts of Hastings and will update with further details when available.

There's been reports of power outages in part of Hastings near Sibley St. Crews are working to resolve. The outages do not appear to be weather related.

A boat carrying 11 people exploded Saturday at the Miss Croix fuel station in Prescott in a freak accident. Five people were transported to Regions Hospital with injuries. The burning boat eventually broke loose from the dock and came to rest downstream. KDWA will have an eye witness account of this event in their upcoming newscasts. To clear up some confusion, there have been zero fatalities reported in this incident, and KDWA has been told that standard boating procedures were followed prior to the incident.
