2016 Grammy Amplifier Finalist - Myles Nelson is a 31 year old emerging country recording artist/songwriter. urpose than the normal person and coming from such a small town really inspired him to go big. Receiving an electric guitar at the age of 14 and picking up an acoustic at 20. He began writing consistently, composing hundreds of songs in just the short time of 5 years. He has such desire and passion for perfection in songwriting, that every song he creates is nothing short of a hit song. When Myles graduated from Ridge Spring-Monetta High School in 2008, he had no idea what he wanted to be. But, he still wanted to pursue something in music. He felt he served a bigger purpose. After obtaining job after job and share of misfortune, despite his rigorous work ethic- he realized that maybe he just was not cut out for the real world and started focusing more on his dreams. In 2013, he was called by America's Got Talent to receive a front of the line pass for auditions in Atlanta, GA. Myles made it to the executive producers and awaited a call in January 2014, in which he missed the call due to moving to a new city. With lack of financial support for recordings of his music, in March 2015 his management (Andrews Elite Mgmt.) funded a 3 track DEMO-EP recorded in 8 hours entitled "the first step forward." In June 2015, Myles was lucky enough to stumble upon producer Matthew Jacques and record his current radio single "Just Can't Wait" (Myles and Matt composed all the instrumentals) which has received airplay on stations -NEWCOUNTRYUSA-, G-105.7 and WALI-93.7 in Missouri, Georgia and South Carolina for several months. Myles Nelson is a 2016 GRAMMY Amplifier Finalist. He was 1 of 10 FINALISTs in the United States with over 176,000 votes accumulated in less than 2 months from his fans. He was flown out to Los Angeles in January to meet with the recording academy in Hollywood for a special 2 day Music Immersion Day. In which he met with top industry professionals(Vice President of Capital Records; Management; Social Media Experts, etc.) and learned their secrets to success in the music business. His song "Just Can't Wait" was also judged and critiqued by curator- Sam Hunt - which was an exceptional honor. Myles released his his crowd funded EP 'Anchored' in October 2016. Which went #1 on iTunes in the USA and Australia. He followed up with anchored Deluxe Edition in 2019. And re-released to deluxe album with a total of 23 tracks in 2021 called Still Anchored. Having a family now. 7 year old boy and 6 year old girl- it’s been hard to keep up with the music and social media life. Myles is still an avid storm chaser and photographs and videos tornadoes and storms you’re around while living in Nebraska now. Releasing several albums in 2024 and 2025, his latest work is "press play and repeat" - streaming everywhere
