Meet the 2026 Inductees: Darrell and Kathy Newton

Darrell caught the farming bug at age 14—and never looked back.

After farming alongside his father, Darrell and Kathy built their operation from the ground up, eventually farming 2,000 acres and maintaining a cow-calf operation for more than 45 years. Their three daughters were part of the family farming tradition along the way.

Their story also includes preserving a historic barn through a major reconstruction that earned the Barn Again Award.

Come hear more of the Newtons’ story and help us celebrate their lifelong commitment to agriculture!
