Call for submission!

Quest Log is a digital humanities site created for and by members of the USM Game Studies Group. The website is where USM students and alumni can submit creative, written, audio, or video work as part of a digital showcase about and inspired by video games and gaming culture. Our plan is to feature a range of genres and formats, and thus we encourage you to think about submitting something. Game-inspired pieces could include:
game reviews
critical essays
prose or poetry
flash fiction
creative nonfiction
visual art or visual essays
memoirs or personal reflections
indie game showcases
dev interviews
gaming videos

Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis and should be sent as an attachment to [email protected]. They should include your name, title of piece, genre of submission, and any other relevant information. Please put the genre of your submission in the subject line of your email. If you have any questions, you can email the editorial team at [email protected]. Please note that the editorial team reserves the right to reject pieces they deem inappropriate. We may also reach out to request changes before accepting material for publication on the website.
