✨ NEW LATE-NIGHT, AUTHENTIC KOREAN BBQ ✨

📍 — Kapiolani Blvd

Moon Korean BBQ just had their grand opening Mid May and is now open daily from 11am — 2am! Their menu offers a variety of grilling options: intestine, prime meat, and wagyu combos! They also have ala carte pork and beef options, along with signature dishes, appetizers, soups, and meal dishes!

We tried two of their signature options:
✨ Medium Moon Intestine Combo: Pick of 3 (Large Intestine, Small Intestine, Tripe, Honey Combo, or Heart). The set comes with an array of banchan, jjageuli stew, steamed egg, and your choice of fried rice, jjapegetti, or buldak to finish on the grill after!
✨ Small Gam Ja Tang: Comforting pork bone soup! Meat is so tender and the soup can be made mild or spicy!

I would recommend dining with a group as portions and the menu is huge! They have a small parking lot in the front!

✨ EXPLORING HAWAIIS HAPPY HOURS: PART 12 ✨

100 Sails at the beautiful Prince Waikiki has a daily happy hour from 4-6pm at their bar and lounge area! This was the perfect time to enjoy happy hour and stay to watch sunset 🧡 They also give 2.5 hours of free self parking!

We loved their refreshing cocktails/spritz for only $10! In addition to food offerings like wings, steak, and pork ribs, they have a secret menu! You can find it by scanning the QR code on their happy hour menu. These items only have a limited amount available daily, so make sure to order them first! The main feature on the secret menu was their beef short rib platter that’s smoked in-house and so juicy and tender!

It’s been a few years since the last time I’ve been up Koko Head and definitely have missed that view 🥹🤩

I used to love doing Koko Head for sunrise then grabbing an acai bowl from Kokonuts, and since it was later for sunset I wanted to check out ! They offer this 10 piece taco set with chips, guacamole, and salsa for $50! You can pick the 10 taco flavors fillings: carnitas, pastor, azada, chorizo, pollo, & suadero.

✨ EASY, FLUFFY, POI BANANA BREAD RECIPE ✨

I absolutely love poi so naturally one of my favorites from ‘s class at was the poi banana bread! 💜 My nana is vegan so I love experimenting to make recipes plant based for her to enjoy and really love how this one turned out! ✨

Makes 1 Loaf Pan:
3/4 Cup Soymilk (Room Temp)
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Cup Poi
1 1/2 Cup Overripe Mashed Bananas
1/2 Sugar (Packed)
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Cups Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Walnuts (Chopped)

Glaze:
Powdered Sugar
Coconut Milk
Cacao Nibs

Pre-heat oven to 350F. Mix your room temperature soymilk with the apple cider vinegar and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. (Room temp will make it fluffier! This is the substitute buttermilk). Add that to a bowl along with the poi, mashed bananas, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined. In another bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients together. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry bowl and use a spatula to fold until just combined: do not overmix! Add in your inclusions such as walnuts and fold a few times to incorporate. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes until the toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the pan then transfer to the wire rack to cool completely.

You can enjoy it as is or with this coconut glaze. In a bowl sift powdered sugar and milk with coconut milk to your desired consistency. Sprinkle with cacao nibs and enjoy!

To store, plastic wrap/airtight container for up to three days at room temperature (I put it in the fridge after). For longer storage,
individually slice and wrap to freeze.

is in the former Maple Garden Space. For the month of May, they have these $9.99 Jajangmyeon Bowls! We enjoyed them after the morning at the beach and these were so comforting! Such a great deal available all day long!

You know I LOVE a good happy hour, so welcome back because the series is here again 🫶

recently started their Late Night Prime Rib called the “Late Bird Special” that offers their huge and juicy prime rib plate for just $30! 🤯🤯 Available 8PM and later on Sundays through Thursdays. This special is first come, first serve!

I thought it was too good to be true, but we just checked it out and it was amazing 🤤 On their Instagram it mentioned as of right now just for May, but I talked their Manager and he said they plan to keep it and have it going forward!

Delicious food and drinks in such a vibey space — yes please ✨

Stepping into summer with & 🌴✨

Maui Jims are my favorite! I have a couple and they are so secure, comfy and I love the protection they provide! ☀️ I also love how comfy all the pieces Tommy Bahama has from casual clothing, to sportswear, and swim! Really love how this one pieces fits and these cover ups are perfect for the beach or any summer day 🤍

✨ MATCHA COFFEE JELLY LATTE ✨

Ohh I love adding a good sweet treat to any day. In addition to their japanese sandwiches, .sandwiches has both strawberry milk and coffee jelly milk drinks that are popular, and lately I’ve been loving adding in their matcha for an afternoon pick-me-up when I’m around Ala Moana! 🙂‍↕️✨

They also have BOGO FREE strawberry matcha lattes if you show your key FOB through the end of June! 👀

Mana Sandwiches is the sister to and I love that they’re conveniently located at the Ala Moana Lanai Food Court!
