Here is some background information
On the build of the Nitro Killer A/FA

Fuel Altered

We got to thinking one day and wandered what would happen if you built a altered from back in the day with the 25% engine set back like they were in the mid 1960,s to early 70,s but lay the car out with modern style and across between old school looks and new school style with the car setting down low like a new car and engine down low like a new style car instead of the high center of gravity style back in the day and with to days tire and clutch or converter technology and the newer traction compounds wanted to see just how quick you could make it run on a consistent basis compared to the cars back in the day and how close can you get it to run with the newer traction compounds and run against the new style 125” cars

The was originally going to be a 98% injected nitro car but do to life the extra help to do that is not available
So decide to go back to our roots and make it a methanol alcohol nitrous set up and some what taking a page out of the Rat Poisons Fuel Altered play book from back in the day when they were inject nitro and nitrous

This car is our way of paying tribute to the Injected Fuel Altereds from back in the day

The rolling chassis is a 108” wheel base built by NK Race Cars
Power will be provided by a 438 ci
All iron Big Block Chevy built in house
With a Nitro Killer custom nitrous system and mechanical fuel injection system the Nitrous system are two dry
Direct port fogger systems with the
Capabilities of making over 900+ hp
Per each stage all of that power and massive torque will go through a original Sloans Racing Powerglide racing transmission to a 9” Ford rear end

The car is being built to go race events
Like FUEL ALTERED CHAOS & THE WORLD FUEL ALTERED NATIONALS
and select Nostalgia events and match racing

Welcome to living in Illinois and running a race car we got our new pricing on Nitrous Oxide mother bottle
It is now $27.53 a pound our cost we knew it was going to go up but not that much it’s getting to the point you could run nitro if you use any big settings on the nitrous
