Funeral Announcement

The funeral service celebrating the life of our beloved father, Etude Janvier, born on April 26, 1957, and who passed away on July 31, 2026, will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Church of God of Grande Rivière, Saint-Louis-du-Sud, Haiti.

The JANVIER Family sincerely thanks you for your presence as we gather to celebrate his life, honor his legacy, and remember him with love.

Should I keep praying for you, Dad?
Every morning, I wake up and pray for you. It’s become part of my life… part of my heart.
But this morning, in the middle of my prayer, it hit me all over again, you are no longer here.

I stopped, and my heart broke.

I realized I can’t pray for God to heal you anymore because you’re already in His hands.

I want to thank every single person who prayed for my dad.
Your prayers meant more than you’ll ever know. They gave us hope when we were afraid, strength when we felt weak, and peace when our hearts were overwhelmed. We truly felt surrounded by love.
But God had already chosen the day He would call my dad home.

As painful as it is to accept, every one of us has a last day on this earth. My dad’s day came, and now he is resting.

Please continue to pray for our family as we learn to live without him.
And if your dad is still here, don’t wait. Call him. Hug him. Tell him you love him. Pray with him. Make the memories while you still can.

Dad… I miss you more than words can ever say. I love you, and I always will. Until we meet again.💔😭
