Haverhill Art Walk activates downtown on September 27th with Punk and Merengue bands, Pop-Up exhibitions, Beyond Walls murals, an art market and activities for all ages

Haverhill, MA — Haverhill Art Walk returns to the downtown Riverfront Cultural District on September 27th, 2-6pm, highlighting underutilized spaces and local businesses with a collaborative spirit.
Railroad Square will be host to a lineup of surf rock and punk bands accompanying screenprinting, temporary tattoos and button making.
Hop across the street to 90 Washington and see the Verse / Visual art show that has traveled from Ipswich to Haverhill this year, where poets and visual artists are paired and create new works inspired by each other’s submitted pieces! Next door at Divine Wellness, artist and author Kristie Haupt will showcase “Rocky the Fish” books and art.
Beyond Walls will be hosting a mural tour starting at The Tap with world-renowned chalk artist Naomi Haverland beautifying the sidewalks outside of the Alleyway Art Market, activating alleyways along Washington Street with 20+ artists.
Visit the newly opened Creative Haverhill gallery to see Mas Fuertes Unidos, an exhibition curated by Melanie Palacios. Transplant Records will host a pop-up featuring vinyl celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at The Time Machine with G’s home to a live art demo with Sammy Bullets on the patio and music by DJ Saint Julian.
The youth bands of Be Imagine Music Studio will kick off the lineup in Washington Square, followed by music and dancing with Luimi band, emceed by Eridania Nieves (Eri Entertainment) and a special performance by the Asociacion Carnavalesca de Massachusetts. Family friendly programming includes offerings by the Haverhill Cultural Council, the UU Church of Haverhill and Emerald Oasis Beauty Bar.
Stop by the pop-up gallery at the Artist Cafe, featuring work of Bethany community residents and venture up Emerson Street to learn about 3D printing at Creatorpult Games. The Winged Rabbit will feature the work of twenty local artists. Don’t forget to make a stop at L’Arche’s new cafe to see murals created by Jenny Arndt and learn about the new cafe opening on Merrimack Street while enjoying free samples of delicious homemade hummus!

Haverhill Art Walk is a Creative Haverhill program aimed to support the artists and businesses of our community while helping to activate downtown.
