What a way to wrap up Hawthorne’s 2026 Summer Travel Season!

🥎 Congratulations to our 12U Girls Softball Team — BCGS LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! 🥎

The girls capped off an incredible season with a 5-2 championship victory over Wyckoff, finishing the season with an outstanding 12-2 record — including an impressive 11-game winning streak to close out the season!

A special congratulations to Paige Dewhurst, who was named Championship Game MVP!

What an amazing season, girls! Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork truly paid off. We couldn’t be more proud of the way you represented Hawthorne on and off the field.

A huge congratulations to our 2026 Hawthorne Travel Baseball 12U and 9U teams on bringing home the NJSBL Championship! 🏆⚾

🥇 12U Champions
The 12U squad finished the season with an outstanding 9-2-1 record, then capped off an incredible run with a 7-1 championship victory over the Bergen Cobras.

🥇 9U Champions
The 9U team put together a remarkable 13-1 season, finishing it in dramatic fashion with a 10-9 walk-off win over Paramus to claim the championship.

What an amazing season for both teams! Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork paid off. Congratulations to all of our players, coaches, and families for representing Hawthorne with pride.

🚨🚨HBSA SNACKSTAND PRIZE WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT🚨🚨

This year we started a prize contest with our volunteers that earned them a chance to win a prize for volunteering in the snackstand. Each time you volunteered you earned another entry to win a prize.

Each winner will receive a $200 gift card to Closeout Bats

The HBSA would like to thank ALL of the parent snackstand volunteers that helped us out throughout the 2026 season. We always try to stress the important role the snackstand plays in allowing us to keep our registration cost as reasonable as possible, while also allowing us to purchase equipment, field upgrades and offer off-season clinics.

In addition, the Hawthorne High School Girl's Varsity Softball Team will be hosting their 1st game of the Passaic County Tournament this coming Saturday - 4/25 at 10:00 am at the Wag Sports Complex (Wag 1 - Blackjack Mulligan's Field). Come out and support our Hawthorne High School Softball Team!
