Jagaban Calls for National Unity and Action Against Kush at Kingtom Football Tournament

The leading flagbearer aspirant of the All Peoples Congress (APC) Party, Sheikh Alhaji Mohammed “Omodu,” popularly known as Jagaban, has sponsored the Kingtom Football Association (KFA) Fourth Edition of the Inter-Area Trophy themed “Say No to Drugs”, held at the K-T Field in Kingtom.
The much-anticipated opening match featured the Kroo Bay Community and New England Ville Community, two local football giants. Jagaban and his colleague flagbearer aspirant, Mr. Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara (JFK), jointly performed the ceremonial kick-off amid cheers from jubilant supporters, a vibrant display of unity and shared commitment to the anti-drug campaign.
In his remarks, Jagaban expressed appreciation to the organizers and extended thanks to JFK and the Hon. Pastor Adama Conteh Sesay, APC Chairlady of the Western District, for their continued support. He called on Sierra Leoneans to actively participate in the upcoming National Population Census, describing it as a civic duty essential for national planning and development.
Jagaban further urged citizens to unite in the fight against kush and other harmful substances, reaffirming his dedication to youth empowerment and social progress.
Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, Mr. Costello commended Jagaban’s unwavering commitment to tackling drug abuse, describing him as one of the few APC aspirants genuinely driven by community development and national transformation.
