This week’s post comes from the personal archives of our founder & creative director, . Lou put this piece together from a mish mash of footage that he filmed over the holidays with his family back in update new york, where he is originally from.
Lou’s goal was to use strong visuals and sound design to drive an improvised narrative with clips that shot organically and that he shaped in the edit after the fact. Using his own family members as silent subjects to the backdrop of the space, he sought to capture the somber & quiet vibe of the rustic forests of the in the fall - A tone & feeling he’s actually felt a bit nostalgic for since become an Angelino almost 10 years ago.
We love the experimental potential that shoots like this offer us and the more abstract approach to content messaging that it affords.
