What starts as curiosity can often become purpose.

Micah’s passion for filmmaking goes far beyond simply picking up a camera. He loves understanding how things work, studying the details, and finding creative ways to tell stories through visual media.

One of the things I admire most is his commitment to learning. Whether he’s exploring new equipment, refining a technique, or capturing a moment that others might miss, he approaches the craft with focus and intention.

Today we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to this nation. Their sacrifice is the reason many of us have the freedoms, opportunities, and moments we often take for granted.

As a veteran, Memorial Day carries a different weight. It is more than a long weekend or a flag waving in the distance. It is memory. It is honor. It is names, stories, families, and legacies that continue long after the uniform is folded away.

May we never forget those who paid the ultimate price.

Mental health isn’t always visible… but it’s always present.

This moment behind the scenes wasn’t just about capturing content.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I had the opportunity to collaborate with
and to document something deeper than visuals.

Because storytelling is not just about what we show…
It’s about what we help people process.

There are people carrying weight you will never see on camera.
And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is create environments where they don’t have to carry it alone.

As creatives, leaders, and advocates, we have a responsibility.
Not just to capture moments—but to handle them with care.
