Willful Wreckords NOVA Indie Record Label / Production & Mastering House. Willful Wreckords, LLC is a small DC area label located in Haymarket, VA.

Started in late 2011 (by Jon Lareau of 10 Gray Tuesdays) with one purpose...to make life a little easier for bands and artists who want to focus on their music. Its primary focus is Hard Rock / Punk. It started off as a hobby, grew into a passion, and is now has taken the next step and turned into a small business. We take a bit of a different approach to the way music is produced and brought to m

arket. We're very willing to try new things or new approaches that are different from the "industry standard", and to work with artist's to determine what their unique needs are and work with them to find the right fit for how we can meet those needs. Willful Wreckords is also always looking for great local DC Metro area bands work with. Additionally we offer "for-hire" artist services such as recording studio time / mastering & distribution at competitive rates for DIY indie groups.

Had a drummer in the studio this weekend and it’s my first client since upgrading to the KellyConcepts Shu internal kick shock mount and EvansDrumheads EQ pad. Fantastic products! Kick sounds amazing and I haven’t even started any mix down processing or effects.

First test of passive point cloud generation from my new Upair2 3D+4K drone. I purchased an off-the-shelf 3D capable drone in order to test out ideas and get some practice flying before I try to build one myself with my GS-Beta . Luckily I found a manufacturer that makes a dual camera ready-to-fly drone: The UpAir2 3D+4K. It was about $500 from amazon and so far I'm pretty happy with it. [ 156 more words ]

I spent the day updating the site and converting it over to a google cloud instance. Getting the Google VM up and running was pretty easy but the site migration was a bit of a pain as I had incompatible versions of MySQL on my local server and on the standard Google Wordpress VM image, as well as trying to get the SSL certificates transferred and installed correctly.
