Every once in a while, someone will say, “It must be nice getting free trips,” and it always makes me smile because the reality is so different.
What many people don’t realize is that being a travel advisor isn’t just something I do for fun—it’s a business. A business built on countless hours of planning, researching, learning, problem-solving, and being available whenever my clients need help.
For every trip you see posted on social media, there are dozens of hours spent behind the scenes helping families choose the right resort, compare options, find the best value, navigate Disney’s ever-changing systems, and answer all the questions that come with planning a vacation.
And when I travel myself, I’m usually working too. I’m taking notes, exploring resorts, photographing rooms, testing transportation, checking out restaurants, and learning everything I can so I can better serve the families who trust me with their vacations.
The truth is, I invest a lot into this business because I believe firsthand experience matters. I want to be able to answer questions with confidence and help my clients make informed decisions based on real experiences—not just brochures and websites.
At the end of the day, this job is about people. It’s about helping a family experience their first Disney trip, celebrating a special occasion, or creating memories they’ll talk about for years.
So if you’ve booked with me, referred a friend, engaged with my posts, or simply followed along on this journey, thank you. Your support allows me to keep doing something I truly love, and I never take that trust for granted. ❤️
