Believe in the Power of You. Hey there, fellow DJ culture and lifestyle enthusiasts! I'm Jude Wellington. Since 1983, I've been immersed in the captivating world of DJ culture and lifestyle, drawing inspiration from the incredible SF Bay Area DJs who shaped the scene - think Steve Masters (The Quake/Live 105), Michael Erickson, 1960-2014 (KSOL), Cameron Paul, 1957-2018 (KMEL), as well as KROQ Los

Angeles and KJLH Compton. As a resident DJ at The Blast Club in Lake Tahoe from '84 to '86, I thrilled crowds with underground modern rock and industrial beats. Fast forward to '86 when I made Hayward, California my new home. In '93, I established IN THE MIX PRODUCTIONS, now known as ITMP, specializing in mobile DJ gigs. As my journey progressed, I expanded my skill set to include event design and project management in 2000. Today, my musical influences span the globe, embracing diverse DJs and their unique tastes. I've personally found solace in blending underground open-format tracks, taking me on a captivating sonic journey. In 2023, I transformed ITMP into a DJ Culture & Lifestyle brand, fully dedicated to sharing my vibe, values, and professional development, empowering like-minded individuals to become the best versions of themselves. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of each individual because when you unlock your potential, together we have the ability to make a positive impact on the world. Let's groove in harmony.

Over 40 years ago, I started mixing music because I loved how it made people feel. Somewhere along the way, that love turned into a front-row seat to one of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives.

Looking back at the hundreds of weddings I’ve been part of over the years, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Each couple, each dance floor, and each late-night moment taught me something about connection, timing, and the quiet power of believing in yourself and the life you’re building together.

Recently, I designed and built my first custom DJ console as a way to honor how far DJ culture has come and how music, design, and atmosphere can elevate a celebration without overpowering it. But more than anything, it made me reflect on the people who trusted me with their wedding day and believed in what we were creating together.

If we’ve ever shared a celebration, thank you. Your trust, your stories, and your belief are the reason I’m still doing this with so much heart.

Here’s to love, music, and the power we all carry within us long after the last song plays.
