The possible passing of the new federal budget has many in our area talking with the potential for thousands benefitting from having Medicaid to having it cut or even losing it completely. Opinions on this vary, from some saying this could be disastrous for our East Kentucky communities to some saying that it is necessary in our country's future.

This week's Talk Back will be preempted due to the 14th Region High School Baseball Tournament.

Talk Back seeks your help!

Next week, our topic will be Medicaid in our East Kentucky region and the effect that potential cuts from the proposed national budget will have in our area from those whose health care depends on it.

If you, or someone you might know and can "share" this request to, has knowledge on the policies and use of Medicare in our area, please message Phil Neace of Talk Back. We would love to schedule an interview with a knowledgeable person for next Wednesday edition of Talk Back on WSGS !
