A worthy topic for a live podcast if ever there was one!

For decades we were told humans and chimps are “99% identical.”
That line made its way into classrooms, textbooks, documentaries... you name it. It’s still taught in schools today.

But brand-new research by Science and Culture Today reports the real number is closer to 15% difference once you account for the parts of the DNA that earlier studies ignored.

That’s a massive shift. Think about it... our entire understanding of what makes us human was simplified down to “just 1%,” when the gap is far wider.

If science could get something this fundamental wrong (and keep teaching it for decades), what else might be overlooked? What else might be dismissed too quickly?

And most importantly for us... what could this mean for Bigfoot? If the difference between humans and chimps is far greater than we were led to believe, doesn’t that open the door to other possibilities that mainstream science has written off?

We were told we were “almost identical to chimps.” Clearly, we’re not.
Maybe it’s time to rethink other “settled” science too.

The Erickson Project: Bigfoot’s “Smoking Gun” That Never Was?

Back in the mid-2000s, Canadian businessman Adrian Erickson set out to do what no one had done before, capture undeniable proof of Sasquatch. He purchased property in Bigfoot hot spots, set up long-term observation sites, and reportedly filmed some of the clearest footage ever, including a sleeping female nicknamed “Matilda.”

The project also linked to the controversial DNA study led by Dr. Melba Ketchum, which claimed Bigfoot was a human–unknown primate hybrid. Years of whispers, promises, and hype built expectations sky-high, but when the big reveal finally came, it left more questions than answers.
