So proud of this guy!!! Dillion is gonna be one heck of an Arkansas State Trooper!!!

Back in March, I was coming home from work and, like most days, I was decompressing before getting home. I rounded a curve and saw blue lights ahead. Dillion had a car pulled over, and there he was at the window—with that Trooper uniform on and that hat cocked just right—looking sharp, professional, and confident!!!

I couldn’t help but think about all the guys at our department who had a hand in influencing him and helping shape him into the successful young man he is today.

I actually teared up as I drove by.

It reminded me a lot of raising your kids—teaching them, guiding them, and then watching them go out into the world and succeed. That’s all we ever want… for them to be better than we ever were.

And this young man is gonna do exactly that!!!!

So proud of you, Dillion!!! Keep making us proud and stay safe out there.

Nothing like a grilled pork chop sandwich on white bread and some purple Cherokee tomatoes!!! Just a little garlic salt and pepper, and I’m set. Simple food always seems to hit the spot the best!!! My favorite!!!! 🍅🥪🔥

Happy Dad’s Day!!! Because any man can father a child… but it takes something special to be a Daddy.

Being a daddy means showing up, sacrificing, leading, loving, protecting, teaching, and being there even when you’re tired. It’s not always easy, but it’s one of the greatest callings a man can have.

To all the dads out there doing the hard work day in and day out — today is for you. Keep leading. Keep loving. Keep showing up.

Next Saturday, June 27th at 1:30 PM, I’ll be speaking at the annual men’s conference at The Bridge Church in Lonoke, Arkansas.

Come humble.
Come prepared.
Come ready to be transformed.
Come willing to open your heart to a new you.

My prayer is that when you leave, you walk out a better version of yourself than when you came in.

I was listening to a preacher the other day, and one question stuck with me:

Does anyone want what you’ve got?
Does anyone want to be like you?

That hit me hard.

The life we live is preaching a message every single day—whether we realize it or not. Our attitude, our actions, our faith, our integrity… people are watching.

So the question is—what are they seeing?

I hope to see you there.

Prime example that seat belts save lives!!! These are a few pictures from this morning. I firmly believe this life was spared because of the combination of a seat belt and airbags.

When you’re involved in an accident and you have your seat belt on, it helps trigger the airbag system and locks the belt in place. If you’re wearing it properly, that belt is locked tight to help protect you. If you’re not wearing it, you’re taking a much bigger risk.

Please… wear your seat belt. It may feel like a small thing, but it can make the difference between life and death. 🙏🚔

Wisdom Wednesday with the Chief!!!

Are you really there… or just physically present?
Some people show up with a smile on their face but are checked out mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

And rejection? Rejection isn’t just words.
It’s the silence…
The distance…
The lack of effort…
The feeling of being unseen.

Pay attention to the people around you. Sometimes the loudest cry for help never gets spoken.
