It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of founder Miljenko “Mike” Grgich, a name synonymous with innovation, excellence, and pioneering spirit in the world of winemaking.

Mike’s enduring legacy extends far beyond his remarkable wines, his dedication to sustainability, his mentorship of future winemakers, and his unwavering commitment to his Croatian heritage. He will be remembered by his family, his many friends, his beloved Grgich Hills Estate team, and the countless lives he’s touched across the globe as a man of kindness, joy, passion, curiosity, and unending gratitude. He will be deeply missed.

A cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc with tropical fruit, grapefruit, melon, and pear flavors and aromas balanced with acidity and minerality. The acidity makes this wine mouthwatering and refreshing, ending with a light tart finish.

Sad to report Steven Spurrier died last night just after midnight at his house in England. A gentleman and incredibly kind to up-and-coming wine professionals. He will forever be linked to "The Judgement of Paris," changing the future of California wine, when he arranged a tasting in Paris pitting French wines against Napa in 1976 and Napa won, shocking the world. His accomplishments and accolades are endless as is his contribution to the wine world. Cheers, and thank you.

A very approachable Sauvignon Blanc with aromas of lemon zest, citrus and a touch of honeysuckle with subtle hints of crushed stones. The layered flavors of citrus, and lemon oil provides wonderful freshness through the finish.
