Arkansas Renaissance Festival Highland Games is this weekend! June 6th and 7th!

Come out and join in on the fun! There are so many adventures to be had! Make sure you stop by the Mermaid Grotto and come sea the wonderful Mermaids of Dragonstone Springs! We are ready to splash, flip and dive for your entertainment.

Come sea me on throne at 12:30pm to 1:30pm and in the tank from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Saturday and Sunday! Huzzah!

Today is the very last day of day 31 "Choice"

We spent the day finishing up painting our mermaid grotto building that we change in between performing and more.

It's a wonderful and highly appreciated new addition to our grotto.

We just had to make it pretty! Arkansas weather hasn't made it easy for us but we managed to do it!

With the help of a few mermaids, the fae and a tall wizard we did it!

This is just the first step of the design! The base foundation for a really fintastic mural to come!

I am super excited for the grotto and to show it off our new addition to everyone this weekend at Arkansas Renaissance Festival Highland Games!

With that come out and see the mermaids of Dragonstone Springs this Saturday and Sunday at the Arkansas Renaissance festival in Mt Vernon AR!

Think you have what it takes to be the strongest in the land? Come and compete in our Arkansas Highland Games June 6-7!

Competitor registration is now open for the 2026 games at Dragonstone Springs at arrenfest.com! Competitors receive an exclusive shirt as well as a ticket to the festival to either come experience the fun of festival the other day or bring your cheering section to herald your victory!

Games will include traditional games such as Hammer Toss, Sheaf Toss, Stone for Distance, and, of course, Caber Toss! The games are also open to view for the public with your normal festival ticket, along with multiple stages of entertainment, our handcrafted vendor market, and our amazing street cast!

Mark your calendars for June 6-7 and make sure to register today to compete. Spots are limited!
