Tonight’s races at The Hill Raceway have been cancelled. Mother Nature won 3 of the 4 races this week. Probably a blessing in disguise because now we can really go through the cars to see what needs to be fixed. Our next race is 9/6, not sure what we will do will all our free time!

Gravity Recap:

Got a late start waiting for the kids to get out of school, got to Milwaukee and the truck overheated, pulled in the pits 3 minutes before the drivers meeting.

Kenzie:
Heat 8th to 7th
B-Main 10th to 8th, that ended her night. She had a great battle with another car for about 4 laps and she was able to set up the pass and move forward.

Rob:
Heat 5th to 2nd
Feature 3rd to chaos to 13th
Bent frame horn, fender ripped off, cut tire, bent rim, bent steering arm, wires ripped out of the motor, etc on about lap 4. He came in and his girl powered (+Jim & Chase) pit crew got his tire changed and sent him back out. The front tires were going in opposite directions but he was able to claw his way from the back to 13th.

Huge thanks to the Tate’s for coming out to watch and helping get the car put back together for tonight. We are weather watching but are scheduled to be at The Hill Raceway tonight.

Have been lucky enough to hold all the boards so far this year with the Midwest Legends Dirt Series........except for the biggest one. Chasing that feature win, had a decent run at Gravity Park USA last time we were there, looking to keep building off of that.

Racing starts at 7pm.

Tomorrow we head to The Hill Raceway, brand new track for us. AND to add a little more excitement to the trip, Step By Step Respite Center and Door County Ace Hardware have added to the purse, they say its MASSIVE and it is much appreciated. Please support both if you find yourself in their area.

It’s RACE DAY!!!

On our way to 141 Speedway for the Weekday Warrior Championship Night. The dragon slayed us a few weeks ago and we missed Maquoketa, but we are still looking to bring the strong performance from Sycamore into tonight.

The positives of a rain out and an empty garage, our 4 wheeler that hasn’t ran in 2+ years is running again.

Gwen is on a mission to have a crash cart for the races. She got her own tools and tool box a few weeks ago and now she can put it on the 4 wheeler.
