HELENA -- The HWH City Council approved a number of items Tuesday night, but few comments were made the city's still-pending #4 million debt nor was the long awaited proposal for dispatchers produced. In briefly speaking about the debt, Acting Mayor Don Etherly said "A lot of things going on with the debt," but he didn't elaborate -- and the Council never asked for specifics on the comment. EARLE -- The Barton Bears have gamely fought back against Earle, making a stop, and then following up with a touchdown. With 5:10 in the second quarter, Barton has pulled closer at 38-22 to remain in striking distance.

EARLE -- Turnovers continue to bite the Barton Bears as Earle returned an interception for a "Pick Six" to take a 38-7 lead with 8:32 in the second quarter. The Bears did come back on the ensuing kickoff with a long return and followed up with a touchdown to pull to 38-15.
