Evening shots!

It's about an hour before I can successfully round up the ducks n geese, but I'm done with this evening's straightening up, so here's a few pics I've taken this evening.

I'm so happy to report Goldie is indeed making progress! She was bearing weight on both feet this evening, so I think her sprain is healing. It takes a human up to 2 weeks of rest and relaxation to heal from a minor strain or sprain of a soft tissue injury, so if she's walking around well by next week, I'll see how she does with the flock! I'm off next week on staycation so I'll be able to keep a closer eye on everyone ❤️😁

I'm running low on bedding until I go to TSC this sat so I'm trying out h**p bedding with the ducklings! So far I think I like it better than straw cause they don't fill their waterer with it🙌

Good evening from my mountain

It's a bitter sweet Welcome home... yay for the sebbies, teens and most of my flock, Goldie seems to be making progress too in her Laundry room retreat, but one of my 1 year old buff brahmas was DOA in the run floor this evening😢
She looked to be in the same general spot as where she was laying this morning at breakfast time. I thought she was just sunning this morning, but I guess not😢🥰

RIP pretty girl

I'm about to eat breakfast for dinner, then head back out to top off feeders and get the pens cleaned up for tonight 🥰

This is the inside of my Teen Coop where I have 16 grow outs from this years hatching and chick buying season!

This weekend I'll be taking that cage and the baby gate and replacing those with the roosting bar i built for this coop! All my babies are off heat and have been mingling the last few days successfully ❤️
