DJ Steph I have been a DJ since 2009 and I love it! I also offer lighting,karaoke, and projection! I accept cash, credit, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal and checks.

Our Story

I have loved discovering the newest music, playing Name That Tune, and learning all the lyrics to the top 40 songs since I was 6 years old. Then as a teenager I’d go to all the dances so I could hear the DJs play the hottest music. Then I became a cheerleader and learned of my love for dance routines! I’ve also developed a love for culture and diversity having lived in Hawaii and moved 21 times (Dad was a Marine! Ooo-rah!) by the time I was 17, which has played a part in my love for all genres of music! Since I always loved music and dancing and celebrating life, it just fit that I became a DJ!

From my humble beginnings with two video iPods and a mixer that I jerry rigged to our home theater stereo system, I built up my business and equipment over the past 9 years to have an impressive pro setup with a QSC subwoofer, 2 large Mackie Thump 15 powered speakers with built in amps, a 10 foot wide lighting truss with lasers, moving heads, etc., logo projector, 2 wireless Shure mics, lapel mics, a headset mic, uplighting, Karaoke, and the list goes on because I’m a girl and girls like lots of stuff right!? =)

Along with ALL that equipment, (depending on what you choose) I bring my own table and custom fitted table cover and dolly so all I need when I arrive is an outlet, some space and people ready to party!

I strongly believe in playing what my audience wants to hear! So although I prepare a custom playlist specific to your event, I’m always happy to take (and screen) you and your guest’s song requests to help me get a feel for what the audience’s tastes are. Then I watch to see what the crowd response is, whether people are dancing and enjoying it (or not), and build up my queue accordingly, live at the event.
