🚨 Exciting Opportunity for Eastend Residents! 🏡

The Henderson Police Department and the City of Henderson, KY Government teaming up to enhance safety and security in the Eastend neighborhood through the Inner-City Improvement Plan!

Hpd is giving away video doorbell cameras to eligible homeowners in the Eastend area. This initiative is designed to empower residents and help them all work together to improve safety and the quality of life in your community!

🗺️ What is the Eastend Neighborhood?
The Eastend for this project is defined as the area from:

• Green Street to Atkinson Street
• Washington Street to Sand Lane

✅ Do You Qualify?
To be eligible to receive a doorbell camera, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• You must own and live in the home located within the Eastend boundaries defined above.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• You must have working Wi-Fi internet service and a router installed at the residence.
• You must not have already received a doorbell camera from the City of Henderson.

If you meet all the requirements and are interested in receiving a doorbell camera, please contact the Henderson Police Department:

• Call 270-831-1295 ext. 9
• or 0 to speak with the operator.
• Ask for Public Information Officer Sergeant Bill Russell for details about the Inner-City Improvement Plan Doorbell Camera program, set up a time to meet, sign the terms and condition, and receive your doorbell camera.

If you couldn’t join us in person, the meeting is currently being live streamed on our page and will be available for viewing on our page after the meeting has ended.

The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 in Madisonville, is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Bobby Wayne Sample, age 32. Due to his involvement in a 911 incident that occurred on November 19, 2025. Webster County Central Dispatch 911 was contacted to report someone was involved in a UTV accident and was pinned underneath it, causing an emergency response from over 20 agencies from surrounding counties. In doing this, emergency equipment was utilized in the attempt to locate the caller, over a 24-hour period. Sample is currently wanted by the agency for issuing a false report that generated an emergency response.

According to investigators, Sample has known ties to Webster, Hopkins, Crittenden, Caldwell, Henderson, and McLean Counties in Kentucky.

Suspect Information:

· Name: Bobby Wayne Sample

· Age: 32

· Date of Birth: April 2, 1993

· S*x: Male

· Race: White

· Hair: Brown

· Eyes: Blue

· Height: 5’10”

· Weight: 175 lbs

The Kentucky State Police encourages anyone with information regarding Samples’ whereabouts to contact Post 2, at 270-676-3313. All tips and information may remain confidential.
