Meet Kamryn Sanderfer, our production designer!

Kamryn is a film production major who has a passion for anything with a good story. She has lived in a few different states, and even spent a good bit of her teenage years living overseas in West Africa! Her multiple different backgrounds are fuel for the stories she loves to tell through film, writing, or any other artistic medium. Dear Dakota is the biggest production Kamryn has been able to work on yet, and production was was one of the highlights of her summer!

FUN FACT: I have way too many hobbies that range from classical guitar playing to aerial silks. I was in two aerial shows, and it’s where I learned my passion for hair & makeup!

Meet Rocky Burger, our DP!

I’m a 21 y/o filmmaker from Atlanta Georgia currently living in Nashville! I’ve always had a love for everything visual, and cinematography is what best helps me express my feelings. With a script that only had voiceover, it was a great challenge trying to convey emotion through visual statements. I think we were able to make a unique look and feel that highlights the beauty of Nashville and reinforces the characters’ isolation.

Meet Elizabeth Harris, our director!

Elizabeth is a Nashville local director, screenwriter, and film major at Trevecca Nazarene University.

She has written and directed numerous short films throughout her high school years, and is grateful for the opportunity to continue pursuing her passion in college. Elizabeth recently won several awards at ’s annual film fest, including “Best Screenplay” for Dear Dakota, and “Best Short Film” for her 2024 film Ghost of Summer.

FUN FACT: Along with filmmaking, I love to travel! I’m excited to combine my passions and go on a documentary trip to Greece this coming spring!
