🎤🪕 DOVE AWARDS RED CARPET MOMENTS | CHOSEN ROAD

Bluegrass, faith, and a whole lot of heart! ❤️🎶

C&G correspondent Jaime Vaughn caught up with Christian Bluegrass group Chosen Road on the Dove Awards red carpet to talk about the Museum of Christian & Gospel Music and the importance of preserving the rich musical heritage that has helped shape Christian & Gospel music.

From the unmistakable sounds of banjos and mandolins to the powerful messages of faith woven into every song, Bluegrass Gospel music holds a special place in our musical history!

And of course, we had to ask the guys our favorite red carpet question! 👀

🪕 If you could take ONE item home from the museum when no one was looking, what would it be?

Watch to hear what Chosen Road had to say!

📍 Experience the stories, sounds, and history of Christian & Gospel music at the C&G in downtown Nashville!

There’s one song on the new album I’ve been wanting to record for about three years.

I pitched “The Mountain” a few times and it got put on hold more than once, but it never quite made the cut. I’m glad it didn’t. It’s a song about those times we ask God to move the mountain in front of us… and then we look in the mirror and wonder if we might be the mountain. What if I need to get out of the way and let Him change something in me?

A few folks who heard the album early have already told me they really like that one. That means a lot.

And here’s a little behind-the-scenes: my wife Kasey is the one singing the harmony on it. She’s also taken every picture for my albums since day one. Pretty neat how those two things came together on this record.

Raised on Faith is still brand new. If you want to hear “The Mountain” (and the rest of the album), you can stream it or grab a copy here:
