β€’ 5th Avenue closed on the East and West sides of Main Street
β€’ Church Street fully closed from approx. 8:15–10:15 AM (southbound traffic detoured to Grove St.)
β€’ No parking on Main Street after 6:00 AM

- Turkey Trot 5k: A Thanksgiving Morning Tradition! Nov 27, 8:30am on Main Street.

- Holiday Tree Lighting: The event starts at Nov 28, 5pm at the Historic Courthouse, with the lights coming on at 6pm.

December Must-Dos:

- Free Carriage Rides & Holiday Cheer: Enjoy a festive ride! Dec 5, 5pm at the Historic Courthouse and throughout Main Street.

Street Closure: Main Street from Allen Street to 6th Avenue will be closed on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM for Treat Street Carnival.
No parking of vehicles after 12:00 PM on Main Street and inside the event barriers. Towing is enforced. For more Treat Street Carnival event information, please visit https://www.hendersonvillenc.gov/event/treat-street-carnival-2

πŸŽƒ 4th Avenue Trick or Treat – October 31st from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Street Closure: 4th Avenue from Washington to Blythe Street, October 31, 2024, from 4:00 PM - 8:30 PM for trick-or-treating.

N. Justice, N. Whitted, Valley, and Ehringhaus will remain open for travel. All motorists are encouraged to remain vigilant for children and families in the area. Residents of 4th Avenue should follow the instructions by public safety personnel when accessing their homes.
