Siegmann, Champion at Enid Speedway!
Hennessey’s own Austin Siegmann took the track by storm Saturday night, October 11th, at Enid Speedway, winning the 2025 Sport Mod/B Mod Championship! Austin, the son of Ryan and Lori Siegmann, brought home the victory after an incredible race.

SEPTEMBER "ALL ABOUT YOU" FLOWER PRESENTATION
September's “All About YOU” flowers go to Carolina Villalobos, a true ray of sunshine in our community.

Sue Harris shared these heartfelt words about her:

“The first thing you notice about Carolina is her smile; it’s always there to greet you, no matter the day. She makes people feel seen and valued, treating everyone with kindness and respect. Carolina is not only a loving mother and grandmother, but she’s a ‘mother’ at school too, caring for students as if they were her own, offering encouragement, guidance, and support. And of course, she has the unique gift of keeping Mr. Faulkner in line with patience and humor. Carolina is an example of love, respect, and dedication. I truly believe she deserves this award, and I wish her nothing but the very best.”

Hennessey All School Annual Reunion 2025 Full Event Photos!
The first weekend of every October HHS Alumni are invited to Jimmy and Beth Berkenbile’s place (AKA The Gathering Place) to reconnect and reminisce about the good ole days. Danny Bossa and Jimmy Berkenbile started in the early morning hours Saturday, October 4th, preparing pork loin, brisket, butt tips, turkey and ham for the evening meal excitedly anticipating all the guests arriving with their side dishes before supper at 5pm.

Midday 33 members of the class of 1975 celebrated the 50th anniversary of their senior year. Their time together started with a luncheon, a short program, watching their Senior Scandals (which was performed in the old auditorium) followed by a tour of the high school and all of the improvements on campus. The short program included recognizing class members present, remembering the 17 deceased classmates and thanking those who traveled from Maine, Nebraska, Louisiana, Texas and all over Oklahoma.

While some of the classmates of ‘75 toured the school a few stayed back to help Beth prepare The Gathering Place for supper and soon there was the familiar buzz of voices from many other graduating classes. After nearly 200 people were served supper the classes gathered outside for pictures to be taken by Jack Quirk with All About Hennessey.

Approximately a month before the reunion Sarah Elerby (‘74) requested the attendees take a moment to remember her sweet cousin, Lovey James, who had passed away. It was decided that a balloon release would be done in her honor. The Class of ‘75 honored their beloved classmates who are no longer with us by writing each name on a balloon to be released with Lovey’s. It was a simple gesture but turned out to be very touching. A new tradition was born. From now on the reunion will include The Lovey James Balloon Release. Future reunion attendees may come prepared to participate.

This annual reunion is always the first Saturday of October; therefore, in 2026 the date for the HHS All-School Reunion will be October 3, 2016.

Same place: The Gathering Place, 6067 Madison Street.
Same time: 5pm.

Hennessey National Honor Society recognized its new members October 9th, 2025. The ceremony was held in the Hennessey High School Auditorium and concluded with cake and punch. NHS recognizes students for their achievements in four core pillars: scholarship, service, leadership and character. Through these core pillars the students are required to have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Volunteer a certain number of community service hours. Take initiative and show willingness to lead others, through school clubs, sports teams, or community organizations. Display a high standard of integrity, reliability, and respect for others. Congratulations to the following existing and new members.
