It’s 5:40 am.

Most people are still asleep — but this is when my day begins.
From Sacramento to the Bay… two events, one day.

Half marathon, pet parade, nonstop energy.
Behind every videos I post people see online,
there’s hours of prep, directing, and chasing moments that matter.

It’s tiring, sure.
But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Because we all have our own 5:40 am —
that thing we wake up early for, even when no one’s watching.

Been reading Ikigai again lately — my little reminder to slow down, simplify, and be present.

I don’t post as often as I’d like. Between DSV projects and everything happening in life, consistency on here hasn’t been easy.
Every time I try to get into a rhythm, the swirl of busyness pulls me right back in.

But here’s the truth — the work never stops, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The early mornings, the full days, the shoots that remind me why I chose this path — they make it all worth it.

Here’s a snapshot from just one day:

• 5am coffee → 8:30am call time in the Bay area. 
• CoreNet Global women at Iron Horse Pilates. 
• Filming a networking at Flourish at Bishop Ranch. 
• Yoga video shoot with Equinox at City Center Bishop Ranch. 
• CoreNet back in the auditorium for Alex Jr.’s talk
• Wrapped at The Branch, a new shared office + coffee spot for Broll.

For anyone else balancing the pull between doing and posting — you’re not alone. Showing up here matters, but so does showing up for the work itself. Consider this my reset to share more of the journey, not just the polished edits.

Jonathan Butler brought all of that during Jazz Series in City Center, and I focused on catching it in every frame.
