It's been quite a ride! We have had the privilege of serving this community for many, many years and it has been a true honor.
Many things have changed over the years, and some of those changes have led us to the difficult decision to close down the radio stations.
We appreciate your support throughout the years and wish this community the very best!
Thanks for tuning in with us!

Well friends,
Due to the economy, costs rising, less available grants, and less monetary donations, our days are numbered. Our money guy is working on getting a close guesstimate, but we've only got a few months left in us.
We've got some fundraisers planned, all the grants in that we have found, and we're shifting to cutting the (already) lean budget where we can.
Grants are difficult for a couple reasons. There aren't a bunch available. Several have restrictions, like we can't use funds for general operations. (Rent, utilities, insurance, etc)

We need your help!!
Please, please donate.
Becoming a monthly donor has a significant positive impact, as we can count on that every month!
Reach out to businesses and ask them to donate! (I'll be sending emails this week too)
Want to take on a benefit for us? Please do!!

Please help! I don't want to close. We serve so many people in their darkest hours, we don't want to leave them hanging.

From the Newsroom: The Umatilla National Forest is looking for volunteers to spend the summer as campground hosts at the Jubilee Lake, Olive Lake, Tucannon, and Woodward campgrounds. Individuals or couples can apply to be hosts. Retirees often apply to the campground host program, finding it the ideal way to spend the summer. Additional information about the Umatilla National Forest is available at www.fs.usda.gov/r06/umatilla.

The Umatilla National Forest, located in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington and northeast Oregon, covers 1.4 million acres of diverse landscapes and plant communities.

From the Newsroom: Oregon’s Department of Transportation reminds drivers to get studded tires off vehicles by the March 31st deadline. Drivers caught with studs after April first could face a $165 ticket from law enforcement. While spring storms are always possible, ODOT says maintenance crews are monitoring conditions and will work to remove any late-season snow or ice from highways.
