Synopsis: Ella and her mother Despina decide to leave Greece for America during

Despina's American dream being for her daughter Ella to take over the Greek Taverna that she build in « Socrates Island » -a very small island ful of Greeks who decided 100 years ago to recreate a replica of kalimnos Greece but in Florida!- but Ella has other aspirations... she wants to sing and play
music like her beloved father Jack who passed away in Greece when she was 15. The years passed and now ... Single, lonely, shy, soon to be 27, Ella wishes she could break free of her overbearing Greek mother and
her failed life. She feels she has no choice but to take over the Greek restaurant and forget about « all that singing fantasy ». When after another mother/daughter fight, Ella's mother drops dead, Ella is
devastated... and she feels very guilty ... she believes she killed her own mother... and now she is an orphan .... Only, that same night, her mother reappears as a neurotic ghost! Ella now feels doubly haunted and hopeless... Until her old flame Nick resurfaces and forces her to
dream of love and liberty as she learns to take control of her own life.

GREEK MOTHERS NEVER DIE İs a super natural dramady -tragical as well as comical - and it carries all the classicism of Greek history and mythology... but now days 🙂 our heroine's travel and transformation is a modern Homeric Épopée( the story takes place over 27 years).. ultimately touches any mother or daughter's heart.
We start the song with the phrase "let's pack!" when the heroes decide to
change their lives and flee Greece (in the midst of an economic crisis) for a better life in the USA. Montage boat plane arrival in usa discovery of their new life there.

How cool is this? Franklin Wall went into Kfrog with Vickie Pepper, whom I love, and did a interview promoting "Nashville on the Coast" event coming up soon and played our song on the radio that's pretty cool. I co-wrote the song, "The Life you Thought you Had" with them last year and they just put out the new single! Grateful!! Daren Deleon was also on the interview.

Our publishing company, McJames Music, is proud to have our classic 80s song, originally by Tiffany..."All This Time" in this new art piece film, "The Grand Tour". Beautifully directed by Miguel Gomes.

GRAND TOUR opened this past weekend on two screens in New York (IFC Center) and Los Angeles (Laemmle Royal). I hope you can catch it in theaters.
The song appears around 1h36min during a Karaoke scene in a Jeepney. A blip... what but we will take it! McJames Music Inc.

This is a cool song I co-wrote with Tim James that's just coming back to McJames Music Inc catalog. Our first cut we ever had by Tiffany back in 1986 and released in 1987 on her debut album. We wrote 18 songs until we got this one approved for the new album.
It is called "Kid on a Corner". It's been recorded once but should be recorded again as far as Im concerned... and we intend to make that happen. Lauren Lewis 😉
Oh! And I sing the background vocals on this song. If you listen closely, you can hear me, especially if you know my voice. I sang BGVS on both those big Tiffany albums.

This was supposed to be a single, but the first couple of singles did so well it took up an entire year. ("I Think We're Alone Now" and "Could've Been") So it never came out as a single....thus never got really heard...unless you bought the album which about 8 million people did so that was a good! Ha!
I recently did a radio interview in Fredericksburg, Texas and the DJ still has his copy of the cassette with the song on it and this was one of his favorites. He was in love with Tiffany. Of course he was 10 at the time!!

I'm in Georgetown, Texas today I'm gonna write with a beautifully, talented young singer and songwriter, Elle Townley. As I was having coffee at the Airbnb, I was sending some songs out to Australia and England and I stumbled on this duet with the mother of my children, Cathy-Anne McClintock.
