I love you, Diane, and life without you will not be the same. You were a force of nature, a strong woman in this industry, and you fought for creative like no one else. I think that’s why we got along so well; we were both fiery and passionate. We always cared about making amazing creative no matter the cost 😊 As all who have worked with you know, you have a very specific process and at times were tough on us producers, but you taught me so much and made me a better producer on every job. You were also an amazing friend, always there for me no matter what. I mean, it’s been many, many years of one of the most amazing friendships I could ever have. I will miss all of our long talks and our time together, but I have memories for life and I know you’re up there watching over me and still with me. I love you, my D.❤️

From all of us at HOUND: Diane Martel lived and made things on her own terms. She never held back. Her films were tender and fierce at the same time, honest and unforgettable, full of moments that stop you and stay with you. She taught us to go for the messy, true take and to trust what feels right. When we miss her we press play and she is right there, loud, generous, and true.

May her legacy live on. We love you Diane ❤️🕊️
