Happy Saturday friends!
I took Shani to the goodwill bins today. We found a few cool things.
This was the find of the day! Only $1!
We couldn’t leave it.
How would you style it?
I’m thinking Christmas ornaments, some greenery and lights on each tier. How pretty would that be??

May we never forget.
But also may we never forget how this country rose up on 9/12/01 and became united. We were hurt and bruised but we rallied and stood together.
Strangers were hugging. People became a little kinder. Nicer to each other. Understanding.
Where did that feeling go?
We as a country need to find that again.
More importantly, we need to find Jesus again. He hasn’t moved….we did.
Please join me in praying for ALL of humanity. Even for those who believe differently than you. We are all human. We breathe the same air. We all need Jesus.

If you are going to bed tonight with a heavy heart…..I see you and I understand.
Today was terrible. Charlie Kirk and a school shooting. Some days are just heavy. Also, it’s the eve of 9/11.
I pray that as a country, we can all find the spirit of 9/12/01. Unify and stand against evil.
Not one side or the other. But as Americans. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I’m Leigh Valentine aka The Turquoise Valentine🩵

I’ve been crafting since I was a little girl and creating has always brought me so much joy. Now, as a mom, grandmother, and owner of The Turquoise Valentine, my calling is to share that joy with you and help you discover the happiness that making something with your own hands can bring.

On this page, I go LIVE twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays @ 7:30pm CST) to craft with my amazing community of makers. I love painting, dot art, general DIY and cutting laser-cut wood DIY kits that can help you be creative!

So I wanted to brag on my dotting membership peeps. They have learned to created beautiful things!
I feel so proud when I see pics like these in our group knowing that at one time, they were scared to learn how to do dot art.
They are creating…..some just for fun. Some are selling their art.
But whatever the reason…it brings them joy.
It also bring me joy to know that I taught them how to do this and they are soaring with it! My heart just swells up! I am proud of them. We have built a community of people who love dotting and find a peace in doing it.
When I hear from someone “it’s just dots”,
I think…..no…. it’s way more than that ❤️❤️❤️
