Keeping on task with learning about the body and its functions this week, I saved some images from the internet to use for making a layered packet. Start with Page 1: The Skeleton on bottom, then staple or use a brass fastener to add the other pages on top to represent the layers of our body, placing Page 5 on top. I will give a brief overview of what these sections of our bodies are for and what they do.

I made some simple sticker reward charts for my children. Every time they complete a lesson without giving me trouble (ex: they don't refuse to do something), they get a sticker for that subject. At the end of the week, they will get to pick a present from the rewards chest if they got a sticker for all subjects for the week 😊 edit the pages and adjust the rules as needed for your household!

For the items in my rewards chest, there are cheap, little trinkets such as bouncy balls, some that light up, tiny bubble wands, little characters, etc.

This is what our homeschooling year will look like (roughly). Writing plans in pencil is great, because you can change and update as needed. Why are changes needed? Because homeschooling is SO flexible! Things can change quickly and suddenly (and sometimes, they're supposed to).
